Festival del Sole/Napa Valley began in 2006 as a counterpart to the festival of the same name in Cortona, Italy. It is a movable feast of musical and culinary excellence that draws a stunning roster of world-class musicians and well known chefs to venues across Napa, in mid-July. This year's festival will take place from July 13 - 22. It will include two performances by the Galways, on July 13 and July 17, as well as the Galway masterclass at COPIA on July 15, which Festival del Sole is co-hosting with Flute Bay Area. The Masterclass in Napa is a Galway Network and Galway Junior Network outreach project, hosted by Festival del Sole and Flute Bay Area, and sponsored by Nagahara Flutes.
